I am a recovering meat overcooker.
Here’s another incredibly simple change that makes life so much easier, in the cooking bacon sense, at least. And, best of all, it’s full proof for overcooking and burning.
Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
Lay the bacon on the paper. It’s ok if they overlap some. They’ll shrink a lot.
Cook for 10 minutes.
10 minutes later you have this. Bacon perfection.
